LAFAURIE 08.91

In 1991, our father Pierre founded Emile Lafaurie, a network of stores dedicated to menswear. In 2018, we took over with the will to transform it into a creative brand while continuing our father’s work: reimagining menswear essentials with an unexpected twist. Every day, we mix the precision of tailoring with the art of reinvention. It shows in the detail of a collar, a signature shade, an innovative fabric - those subtle touches that make all the difference in a piece. Simply put, at Lafaurie, we’ve mastered the art of standing out, without overdoing it.

Théo & Pablo Lafaurie

4 RUE DU CANIVET 75006.

Lafaurie found its home just steps away from the Luxembourg Gardens, in what was once Théo and Pablo’s grandmothers’ lampshade workshop. More than just an address, it’s the primary inspiration for our creative studio. The neighborhood embodies both classic and timeless elements while maintaining a free-spirited, artistic, and occasionally irreverent attitude.

the original

Rue de Birague, 1990s. A painter walks into Lafaurie wearing a work jacket covered with gouache. He’s looking for a replacement. Pierre Lafaurie decides to create one specially for him: the Painter’s Jacket was born. A new menswear essential, designed for everyday wear, it finally bridges the gap between functionality and elegance.

THE LAFAURIE TOUCH

For over 30 years, we’ve been honing our expertise alongside our artisans. We work directly with all our workshops, with no intermediaries. Together, we explore the finest European fabrics, reinventing them and infusing that subtle edge that gives our pieces their soul. Since 1991, we’ve been recognized for our masterful use of color - muted tones and understated hues that add distinctive flair to any silhouette.
